What should you do if you’re setting up Linkerd for a new production installation? There are a lot of options, after all: Do you use Helm? The CLI? Maybe a GitOps setup? What should you do for certificates? How about multicluster?

Join us to learn about our recommended golden path to quickly get a rock-solid Linkerd installation set up! In this Service Mesh Academy, Phil Henderson of Buoyant Customer Success will take us through a hands-on workshop on the path to straightforward, sane, supportable Linkerd installations.

• Learn how to quickly get Linkerd set up for production
• Understand the available installation options and the tradeoffs around them
• Know the most critical points about running Linkerd in production

This is a hands-on workshop, so it's important that you arrive prepared with a Kubernetes cluster (pretty much any kind will do!) and the Linkerd CLIs installed on your machine! We'll use Buoyant Enterprise for Linkerd version 2.18, but Linkerd edge releases starting with edge-25.4.4 will work just fine, too. Check out the BEL Getting Started Guide for specific instructions on how to set that up. (As always, if you don’t want to do the hands-on portion, you are welcome to just listen in. But it won’t be as fun!)
